Welcome to my WebBlog, my name is Scott and I’am a 12yr old wakeboarder from the UK, I started riding at the age of 8 years old, wakeboarding is so much fun and is a really exciting cool sport to be involved in!
Since starting wakeboarding i’m happy to say i’ve been both Boat & Cable British champion as well as European cable champion in my age division. I’ve also been lucky enough to represent GB in European and World championships, where in 2010 I came second taking the Silver medal in the cable wakeboard Worlds held in Germany helping Team GB win Gold.
2008 I was ranked 1st overall in the UK and 3rd in the World by the IWWF for cable wakeboard in the Mini Boys division, and in 2009 ranked 1st overall in the UK and 1st in the World.
2010 I was ranked 1st overall in the UK and 2nd in the World by the IWWF for cable wakeboard in the Mini Boys division, and in 2011 ranked 2nd overall in the UK and 24th (out of 117) in the World (placed 2nd highest UK rider) competing for the first time in the Boys division.
Also last year I had been selected for the GB Team heading out to Serbia for the European cable championships, and for the first time that year moving up out of the Mini Boys and into Boys, coming 9th (out of 25) a great experience & result competing in my new age division!
