Just returned from a trip to Hipnotics Wakepark in Turkey, if you’ve never been check out the link such a sick place, big thanks to Hipnotics cable and the friends I rode with both from home and abroad, loving my Ctrl Supreme board, one of the best boards ive ever ridden on both the sliders and air tricks, also thanks to Ctrl Europe & Fox Europe for sorting out all my new 2014 gear before my trip, few pics below:
Here’s a quick summary of my 2013 competition season. It all kicked off with a trip to Hipnotics cable park in April for some early season training and to put together a new riding video for my sponsors. Then throughout the year I entered various Boat and Cable competitions with some great Podium places managing to take the Boat National Titles in Boys for both Wakeboard and Wakeskate at Quayside Wake, and later on in the year a 2nd place in Boys at the Cable Nationals held at Liquid Leisure Wakepark.
I was also selected to be part of the Boat & Cable GB Squad as well as selected into the British Water Ski & Wakeboard Talent Development Programme.
The other highlights for me were representing GB and taking the Bronze medal out in Sweden at the Cable Europeans in Boys in such a competitive division and competing in the knockout RedBull Harbour Reach qualification comp taking 3rd place in Open men held at JustWake sytem 2 Wakepark!
My last competition of the year was held in December at Liquid Leisure Wakepark in their Winter obstacles only series comp, taking 1st in the Boys, with two more stops to go early next year to decide overall division series champions and a share in the £500 prize money.
BIG thanks to all my sponsors in 2013, without your help this all would not have been possible, FOX, CTRL Wakeboards, WMski Wakepark, LDB Wakeschool, BWS&W Talent Development Programme/Funding, with finishing off the year currently ranked overall 1st in the UK & 3rd in the World in Boys for cable wakeboard by the IWWF/CWWC official overall rankings.
Looking forward to 2014!

The 15th European Cable Wakeboard & Wakeskate Championships 2013 were held in Fagersta, Sweden at Fagestra Cable Park from 26th August to the 31st, 18 riders from Team GB headed out on the Sunday to compete.
In my division there were 28 riders split into four Qualification groups of eight where the top three riders from each group went straight through to Semi’s with the rest going into LCQ’s for another chance to make it through.
The Semi Finals was made up of two groups of eight riders with the top four from each group going through to make up an eight rider Finals to battle it out for Podium.
My competition started on the Wednesday with Qualifications and LCQ’s, with the Finals being held on the Thursday. So Pleased to have Qualified 1st in my heat and so going straight through to Semi Finals on the Thursday where I qualified 3rd so going through into Finals landing my first run but falling on my harder run placing me third on the podium in Europe and bringing home the Bronze Medal 🙂
